The TryLocalFirst.net Directory is not liable for any omissions of this kind and any complaints need to be taken up with the business owner.
Listing on the TryLocalFirst.net Directory
All free listings will remain free for an indefinite period with no terms to upgrade, unless it is agreed by you to purchase listing promotion ads. The prices and the terms of payment for a listing promotional ads are displayed within the Listing Management Dashboard – Ad page and you’ll be given ample opportunity to review any charges before you make a purchase.
The subscriber understands and agrees that upon purchasing a promotional ad for their business, said listing will not automatically renew on the date of expiration so the listing needs to be renewed manually. In such cases, the renewal shall be performed in accordance with the manner of payment originally chosen by the subscriber, at the price rate displayed at the time of purchase. A listing for one company cannot be substituted for a listing for another. Subscribers can cancel their listing at any time by deleting the listing manually or by contacting us. For instances where a subscriber requires a listing to be removed immediately, please contact us. A refund for the remaining promotional ad period will not be offered. Please Note: Any hyperlinks to external websites included within listings will not be indexed. There is no minimum age for owning a company, but as a general rule in most states, you need to be at least 18 to register a business or pay taxes. So anyone under the age of 18 should have an adult create the listing for their company on this site.
Subscribers
Your dealings with subscribers or Companies and any entity whatsoever as found through this Directory and this Service are solely between you and such Company, Partnership or entity. You agree that we will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of such dealings or as the result of the presence of a listing on this Service.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold The TryLocalFirst.net Directory, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders or other partners, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Sites you submit, or make available through the Service, your use of the Service, your connection to the Service, your violation of the Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any rights of another.

Our FREE business listing on The TryLocalFirst.net Directory allows you to provide a brief description of your business and the services you provide. It also allows you to display your contact detail; your own photos; company logo; customer reviews; opening hours; and social media Links.
Please note:
When filling out your first listing registration form and you provide a valid email address you will be assigned a User ID. Once registered you will receive an email advising you of your assigned User ID and password. For best practices, you should change the automatically generated password to a secure password of your choice. You will be able to login to the Listing Management Dashboard using either your User ID or the email address you entered when you signed up. We reserve the right to edit details, change page layouts and delete entries at any time without notice. We reserve the right to reject any listing if it does not meet community standards. We may collect the following information: Name and name of company Contact information including email address and telephone number; Demographic information such as postal code, town, county; any other information you supply about your business and services.

Deceased User
In the event of the death of user, a person authorized to act on behalf of the estate, or a verified immediate family member of the deceased can request to have the deceased user’s business listing removed. We will require documentation to avoid unauthorized and false reports. Be assured that the requested information will remain confidential and will be deleted permanently.
